Motala currently has one stretch of Östgötaleden, which starts at Borensberg by the Göta Canal bridge and runs along the canal’s towpath to Berg, where it continues to Linköping.

Additional stretches are currently in the planning stages.

Further hiking, alone or with guides, is offered on Skönnarboleden north of Tjällmo. The tourist bureau can provide more information.
