Take a chance to see Östergötland! The trail network totals 1400 km in length, providing a varied nature and culture experience. Select a municipality on the county map below to see a summary of the trail in each area. The information is also available in PDF format to download and bring along on your walk. | The trail is marked with orange rings and dots on trees and lampposts. The markers are sufficiently obvious that you should be able to follow the trail without a map. You do not need to be an experienced hiker to enjoy a walk along Östgötaleden. All you need is a pair of comfortable shoes. If you want a map, it can be purchased at tourist offices. Most stages of the trail can be easily reached by car or bus. Welcome to an experience beyond the ordinary. |  |
